I went to take a bath today. Once the tub was full of water kitty climbed up on the edge to see what was going, and promptly fell in. This is the aftermath (this and a very wet bathroom floor).
Godiva was my college graduation gift from my husband (boyfriend at the time). Ok, and sort of from my sister, too. Then approximately 6 weeks old, she was adopted from Rochester Animal Services in June 2003. Although she was sick from the day she came home with me (upper respiratory infections suck and snot gets everywhere...) she quickly warmed up to us. Godiva is not a lap kitty. She never will be. She keeps things on her terms. This is not to say she is not friendly. She will greet every person who comes into our home with her signature bump and rub and by standing on her hind legs to sniff your face. She's very patient when picked up and will stay still for 20-30 seconds before she starts to worm her way back to the ground. She will lick anyone who gets close enough to let her do so, her specialties being nose, forehead and hair. She is very gentle around people's faces (she has only nipped at my face once or twice that I can remember) and simply adores to leave as much fur as she can on anyone who gets their faces close enough to let her do so.
